There are several accommodation options for students who are looking to stay in the area while studying with us. Mahurangi Technical Institute can also arrange for you to be picked up or dropped off at the airport, at a cost of $60.00 one way or $120.00 for a return trip (to be paid in advance). 2 weeks notice of transfer requirements is necessary.

Mahurangi Technical Institute offers a daily pick up and return bus service from Silverdale, Red Beach and Orewa. Many students bus, drive or car pool to pick up locations then catch the bus. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Pick up times are around 8.20am. The bus leaves the Technical Institute at 3.10pm, dropping you at your stop around 3.30pm each afternoon.

Mahurangi Technical Institute has student accommodation, student bus service, and offers airport transfers to students, providing an option to suit everybody.

There is no public transport within the Warkworth area, however buses do run between Warkworth and all the main townships. Timetable information and bookings can be made through the Warkworth Information Centre (Baxter Street, Warkworth) or online at www.intercity.co.nz
