The RYA Yachtmaster Ocean is a
6 day intensive course on celestial navigation and ocean passage
making and is designed to turn the RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore holder
into a globally-capable skipper. Following the course candidates are required
to complete a 600nm ocean passage and submit their sights and workings
to the RYA for issue of their licence.
