The Day
Skipper practical course aims to teach pilotage, navigation, seamanship
and boat handling up to a standard required to skipper a motor cruiser
safely by day in familiar waters. The award of the Day Skipper
certificate is based on your skills throughout the week and is made by
the insructor on board. Students also undertake night pilotage
exercises.

navigation and seamanship, or ideally hold a CBES Boatmaster
certificate or RYA Day Skipper shorebased certificate. |
