CBES/RYA COMPETENT CREW

The Competent Crew course is a beginner's course for sailing.  Students will be taught the basics of sailing and seamanship.  The course is conducted on board our 40 foot training yacht in the Hauraki Gulf area.  Topics covered include safety, tying knots, sail trim and man overboard recovery.  At the end of the course successful candidates will be awarded the Competent Crew certificate.

Maximum of 5.  Candidate/instructor ratio will be 5:1.

NZ$1,500.00.

Accreditation:

Certificates are issued by Coast Guard Education NZ on behalf of the Royal Yachting Association, Southhampton, UK.
