When you learn to drive a car you take lessons -
you learn to operate the vehicle in good weather and in bad, you learn
the traffic signs and rules of the road - boating requires no less.
If anything goes wrong you can't get out and walk, and the next
stop may well be Australia, Antarctica or America! Every year the lives
of rescuers are put at risk going to the aid of incompetent and
ill-equipped boaties. You will enjoy your boating more with the
confidence gained by achieving your NZ Boatmaster Certificate.
