Mahurangi Technical Institute
Overseas Experience training offers you excellent training and
qualifications required to work internationally. The course
includes the Basic Standards of Training Certification and Watch keeping
for Seafarers (STCW 95). This is a minimum prerequisite for crew
working on MCA registered vessels (see
STCW 95 page).
PLUS
the CBES/RYA Power Boat Level 2 certificate: basic boat handling and
seamanship skills. Ideal training for driving the vessel's
tenders.
PLUS
the Restricted Radio Operator's Certificate (RRTOC): basic licence
enabling you to operate a marine radio. Includes voice procedure
and distress calling.
