Situated
within walking distance from the
Technical Institute, the MTI student hostel is a 32-bed student
accommodation complex located at No. 11 Wickens Place, Warkworth.
The complex consists of 4 purpose built houses,
and features:
- Single and shared (2 people) rooms.
- TV Lounge.
- Games room.
- Central dining room.
- Off street parking.
- Walking distance to the Tech.
- Walking distance to Warkworth township.
- Close to bus route.
- Internet access (useage charge applies).
 The hostel is available to all students attending the
Technical Institute whether on full time or short courses.
Full board consists of a continental breakfast and
cooked evening meal. Students are expected to keep their rooms
tidy, attend to their own laundry (coin operated machine supplied) and
respect the rules and other residents.
A Hostel Manager lives in a separate unit on site.
Nearby attractions include:
- 5 minute walk to historic township
- 8 minutes drive to East Coast Beaches
- Gateway to Kawau Island
- 15 minutes drive to Waiwera Hot Pools
- Only a 90 minute drive to the Bay of Islands or 45
minutes to Auckland central.

Tenancy Confirmation - Applies to
Full or Short Term Tenancies
Your tenancy period requirement will be
established at your time of enrolment. Upon receipt of the Residence
Contract and the $100 non-refundable deposit, your tenancy will be
confirmed. Note that the $100 non-refundable deposit will be
credited to your hostel account against the booked period.
