RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore – Sail
It consists of comprehensive package of a seven day theory and intensive four day practical afloat training (plus a one day practical exam) and includes all STCW training.

The successful candidate will receive:
-RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Shorebased Certificate
-STCW Competence in Fire-Fighting and Fire Prevention Certificate
-STCW Competence in Personal Survival Techniques Certificate
-STCW Competence in Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities Certificate
-STCW Competence in Elementary First Aid
-MNZ Certificate of STCW Basic Training
-Maritime Restricted (Radio) Operator’s Certificate
-RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore/Power Endorsement Certificate of Competency. Issued to successful candidates by the RYA of Southampton, UK.
-RYA PPR Course
| Duration and 2018 Start Dates: TBC Class hours: 8.30 am – 4.30 pm Class Size: Maximum course numbers = 4 Minimum course numbers = 3Entry Requirement: Qualifying seatime requirements to attend this certificate course are 50 days on board a motor vessel at sea as an active member of the crew and a minimum of 2500 miles logged. To gain the RYA certificate candidates must: -Be aged 18 years and over -Have five passages over 60 miles measured along the rhumb line from the port of departure to the destination -Have skippered at least two of these passages (one overnight) -Have 5 days experience as a skipper -Half the qualifying time must have been conducted in tidal waters. |
