RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore – Sail
It consists of comprehensive package of a 7 day theory and intensive 5 day practical afloat training and includes STCW Basic Training. The 6 week package also includes an additional 5 days of practical sea time plus a 5 day radar course.
Qualification:
The successful candidate will receive:
-RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Shorebased Certificate
-STCW Competence in Fire-Fighting and Fire Prevention Certificate
-STCW Competence in Personal Survival Techniques Certificate
-STCW Competence in Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities Certificate
-STCW Competence in Elementary First Aid
-MNZ Certificate of STCW95 Basic Training
-Maritime Restricted (Radio) Operator’s Certificate
-Restricted Radar Observer’s Certificate (for the 6 week course only)
-RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate of Competency. Issued to successful candidates by the RYA of Southampton, UK.
